How it Works

We’ll post offers of donations from anyone. However, we can only accept requests from registered nonprofits and schools. If you are an individual seeking assistance, unfortunately we cannot help you through this list. But feel free to contact us and we’ll point you to an agency that can.

Please always include your name and an email address. If you don’t mind being contacted by phone, send us your number, too.

Please consider these items when submitting your request:

 

You have stuff to donate

1. Tell us what you have and be as specific as possible.
2. Tell us the condition: new, excellent, good, fair, poor. (And be honest.)
3. Attach a photo or link to a photo if you have one.
4. If you have something in bulk (food, clothes, tickets), tell us the quantity.
5. If the item(s) need to be picked up, tell us where (a town or neighborhood will do).
6. Any other notes about the item(s).
7. Please include your name and email address (a phone number is optional).

 

You have services to donate

1. Tell us what you’d like to do and be as specific as possible.
2. Tell us if you have a group (and how many are in it) looking for a volunteer activity. If there are children, let us know that, too.
3. If you have any special skills, don’t be shy.
4. If there’s a cause that’s especially important to you, say so!
5. Let us know if you’re looking for a one-time or ongoing commitment.
6. Any other notes about what you’re looking to do.
7. Please include your name and email address (a phone number is optional).

 

You are a nonprofit with a special request

1. Tell us what you want or need and be as specific as possible.
2. Tell us why you need it. (This is for your sake, not ours. The more details you give us, the more your story will resonate and the more likely you are to have your needs met.)
3. Please let us know if there is a specific time frame when the item or service is needed.
4. Assume that you will need to arrange to pick up the item(s).
5. Any other comments or notes about what you need.
6. Include the name of your organization, your name and email address (a phone number is optional).
